I hate my period. I hate it more than anything in the world. I hate taking a daily pill to make it better and then suffering once a month with a "better" cycle. I hate my bloating. I hate my mood swings. I hate the way every part of my body hurts and all I crave is No-No Foods. I hate my period.
The worst day for my mood is the first day. Then the cravings hit hard tomorrow. This month, I cannot have chocolate, or pop-tarts, or Coke, or even a bagel. No blueberry bagels?! Yes, no blueberry bagels. Why am I doing this? Oh yeah, to my make my non-period stomach feel better. Right now it feels like an army is invading.
Here is what I ate today:
Breakfast - pancakes and honey
Morning Snack - fresh fruit salad
Lunch - turkey, cheddar, and pepperoni panini with popcorn
Afternoon Snack - frozen bananas
Dinner - gyro and hummus
For this week's date night, we took it easy because I am not feeling well. We went to our favorite gyro restaurant to pick up food and watched The Office for a few hours. Because of how I am feeling, I actually left work early and tried to sleep it off. Hopefully I am better tomorrow.
